Filling:
- 1/2 tsp Ghee
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 tbsp chopped carrot(optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped green bell pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped yellow or orange bell pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped broccoli
- Salt as per taste
- Pinch of turmeric
- Red chilli powder according to taste
- 1/2 tsp cumin-coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp shredded cheese
Method:
- In a Pan, take a Ghee
- Once hot, add cumin powder.
- Later add all the vegetables and mix it.
- Add turmeric, chilli powder, cumin-coriander powder and mix well.
- Cook for 2 min and add garam masala.
- Do not overcook. Leave the vegetable crunchy.
- Once it is cold, mix the cheese and leave it on the side.
Sprout chilla:
- 3/4 cup mung sprouts
- 1/4 onion
- Small piece ginger
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Pinch of hing
- Salt
Note:
- Take all ingredients in the mixer Jar and grind it with water and make a batter.
- Take a non-stick pan and make chillas out of it( you can make around 2 from this batter). Do not make it too thick or crispy.
- Once the chilla is cooked. Add the filling in the middle and make a pocket out of it.
- Take your packets on a plate and garnish it with yoghurt ( add salt, sweetener(Optional)), lettuce, chopped tomato and sprinkle chat masala.
